WIAA Football Championships: Division 7

Glenwood City used a strong rushing attack to down Potosi in the Division 7 Championship at Camp Randall Stadium today 46-21.
The Hilltoppers (11-2) won their 3rd State Football Championship by gaining 465 yards on the ground. Issac Tuttle had 199 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns while teammate Adam Holmquist had 149 yds and a score. They finished with 500 yards of total offense while allowing Potosi (12-1) just 273. Potosi quarterback Tim Fritz was 12-25 for 147 yds, 1 touchdown and an interception.
Potosi, making their first trip to state, led at halftime 14-12 but were outscored 34-7 in the second half. They came into the game averaging 42 points a game.
