BOYS T-BALL AWARDS CEREMONY HELD

The Neillsville Recreation Department held their annual T-Ball Awards Picnic on Wednesday, July 16th at the school softball diamonds.

All boys who participated in the program received certificates. Teams and their honored players included:

YANKEES: Reese McDonald, Joe Vance, Cameron Waters, Will Pellowski, Hudson Hanson & Zachary Magnus

TIGERS: Andrew Hoeser, Damien Sampson, Parker Voigt, Seth Schoolman, Vaughn Seif, Jeremiah Stephens & Dominic Hale

WHITE SOX: Tucker Johnson, Sam Hayes, Jack Hediger, Kole Miller, Chase Uptergrove, Andrew Blum & Preston Berg

DODGERS: Jace Pekol, Gunnar Barth, Gavin Barth, Ethan Miller, Austin Boon, Brody Bergemann & Skylar Melvin

TWINS: Nolyn & Gavin Mcfarlane, Austin Gross, Travonte Carrillo, Parker Schroeder, & Mark Jorgensen

The Neillsville Recreation Department would like to thank the volunteer coaches/instructors of the league, Regan Barth, Kent Miller, Coty Montgomery, Mike Gross, Scott Uptergrove, Dave McDonald, Travis Berg, Larry Hoeser, Antone Matalas III, Sue Voigt, & Randy Magnus. The1r dedication and expertise was very much appreciated.

Following the ceremony ice cream and rootbeer, donated by A&W were enjoyed by all.

T-Ball is a baseball program for boys seven and eight years of age that stresses the fundamentals of the game with very little emphasis on winning and losing.
