-The Neillsville Finance Committee continues to hear reports from various committees as they prepare the 2014 budget.

Dave Flynn went over the budgeted projects for the city.

The budgeted projects include total reconstruction to Grand Avenue from Division Street to West First Street and West First Street to West Second Street at $82,640 and $35,385, but there is $57,769 of HoDag Funds being applied to those.

Also, the city has budgeted for a $10,000 upgrade to the Cemetery Roads, a storm sewer project on Grand Avenue from West First Street to West Fourth Street for $40,419, but that same amount will come from the HoDag Funds. Finally, West Fifth Street will be done from Ferguson Street to way down the hill.

Dave also said that both Grand Avenue Projects will only include the first lift of blacktop since they want to be sure all the pipes have time to settle. He also mentioned that if the city needs to delay a project, the West Fifth Street project could be pushed back.
