THORP WOMAN DIES AFTER ACCIDENT

Authorities say a Thorp woman involved in a one-vehicle accident in Chippewa County last Wednesday has died from her injuries.
22-year-old Raelynn Burrington veered into the median on Highway 29 near Cadott striking the guardrail protecting the bridge pillars for an overpass. The vehicle continued down the guardrail, turning onto its side and striking the bridge pillar.
Burrington and her 16-day old daughter, Marie Field, were pinned in the vehicle and had to freed by Cadott Fire and EMS personnel.
The infant was released from St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield over the weekend.
