Chippewa County authorities say a pick-up driven by 22-year-old Raelynn Burrington veered into the median striking the guardrail protecting the bridge pillars for an overpass. The vehicle continued down the guardrail, turning onto its side and striking the bridge pillar.

Burrington and her 16-day old daughter, Marie Field, were pinned in the vehicle and had to freed by Cadott Fire and EMS personnel.

Both mother and daughter were airlifted from the scene.

Good news this morning as the girl is listed in "good" condition at St. Joseph’s hospital in Marshfield. Burrington was transported to Luther Hospital in Eau Claire where her condition is not being released this morning.
