It maybe didn’t feel like it temperature-wise, but spring was definitely in the air Friday.

The Neillsville Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual “Spring Showcase” at a new location Friday. The Neillsville High School Field House was the site for what Chamber Director Cindy Schwanz explained may have been the most successful Showcase ever.

"There were 130 people who came through the first hour of the Showcase," Schwanz said. "We had a approximately 300 people come through our show."

This was the first year organizers kept track of the number of visitors, Schwanz said.

Schwanz says there were 39 vendors – the most ever – and those vendors said they really liked the new location.
