-The Clark County EMSI Analyst data provides an interesting look into the different job industries in Wisconsin.

A typical employed individual earned just over 32,000 dollars in Clark County for the 2012 year. Men earned just over 37,000 dollars and women earned just over 24,000 dollars.

The utilities industry had the highest earnings in 2012 with an employee pulling in just over 116,000 dollars. In second place were jobs that fell into the unclassified industry category with employees pulling in over 93,000 dollars. In third place were mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction with employees pulling in almost 63,000 dollars.

For 2012, there were 1,015 recorded unemployed workers in the county. The leading industry regarding unemployment was manufacturing with 270 people or 27%. In second place were those that were unemployed from an unspecified category with 148 people or 15%. In third place was retail trade with 137 people or 13%.
