-The Clark County EMSI Analyst data provided an interesting look at jobs in Clark County for the 2011-2012 year.
According to the report, there were 16,975 jobs in the county for 2012 and 60.3% of those jobs were held by males with 30.7% held by females.
Manufacturing was the leading provider of jobs in Clark County with 2,890, followed by agriculture, forestry, fishing, and hunting with 2,836. In third place was government with 2,023.
The least amount, that actually provides a positive number of jobs, was mining, quarrying, and oil and gas extraction with 26.
Management of companies and enterprises along with any unclassified industry didn’t provide any jobs.
