Clark County Natural Hazards Awareness Project Beginning to Take Shape

-The Clark County Natural Hazards Awareness Project is beginning to take shape.
With the flooding that occurred early last year, the Clark County Emergency Management Department and Regional Planning were able to acquire a grant that will allow them to run several projects to bring awareness to the county.
The project has been a collaboration of ideas from various departments and a rough layout of the display was presented to unanimous approval.
The display will be moved around the county and put in high traffic areas like libraries, city halls, factories and other places. It will provide a detailed look at natural disasters that occurred in the area and provide information regarding what you can do to be prepared.
The purpose of the project is to change the mindset that most people have which is it will never happen to me. The project will be rolled out during the beginning of March.
