RUDY BACK IN COURT

Shaun Rudy was back in Clark County Circuit Court on Tuesday. The Thorp man accused of killing his wife and her unborn child was supposed to enter pleas to unrelated drug and firearm charges, but did not. It now appears the case is headed for a delay as Rudy’s attorney, William Poss, filed a motion to withdraw from the case. Poss cited “professional considerations” for his request, which was granted by Clark County Circuit Court Judge Jon Counsell. Poss said it is “going to take a little time” to find a new attorney to represent Rudy, who hasn’t made an initial appearance on the homicide charges filed Friday. A status conference was set for March 15th.
