Train vs. Car Crash in Spencer

-A train struck a car in Spencer early Friday morning.
According to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department, just before 4am a driver attempted to turn around on the train tracks at E. Willow Drive and S. Pacific Street, but the vehicle became stuck on the tracks.
The driver, a 27-year-old Illinois man was able to get out of his vehicle before the train hit his car. He was shaken, but not injured.
