RUDY MAY AVOID TRIAL ON FIREARM CHARGE

The man investigators believe murdered his pregnant wife will apparently plead guilty to unrelated charges. It appeared Shaun Rudy was headed for trial on felony possession of a firearm and drug paraphernalia charges, but that changed during his final pre-trial conference Thursday. Clark County Assistant District Attorney Dick Lewis says Rudy now wants to plead guilty. A plea hearing has been scheduled for March 7th in Clark County Circuit Court. The Clark County Sheriff’s Department calls Rudy a suspect in the murder of Christine Rudy, but no charges have been filed in the case.
