Cross Inspections for Neillsville Businesses

-Neillsville commercial and industrial businesses must have a cross inspection done on their water system.
The inspection is mandated by the DNR and must be followed. The city can do residential inspections, but not commercial or industrial. This particular inspection must be done by a master plumber.
Dave Flynn, Director of Public Works, sent out a letter to all businesses instructing them that they need to have their water system inspected.
This inspection will make sure that pollutants are not seeping into the city’s drinking water.
A cross connection exists whenever the drinking water is connected to a non-potable source.
