Waltemate Advances to National Silver Gloves

Jake Waltemate, of Neillsville, represented Community Boxing Club and the State of Wisconsin this weekend, at the Regional Silver Gloves Tournament in Rapid City, South Dakota. Boxing at 165 pounds, Jake drew a bye for the first round of competition on Saturday evening.
The winner of that bout was Stephen Badmilk from South Dakota who then advanced on to go against Jake on Sunday afternoon.
Jake won the bout by Decision and will advance to the National Silver GlovesTournament in Independence, Missouri on January 30-February 2.
Next up for Community Boxing Club members will be a trip to Grandma's Sports Garden in Duluth, MN on Feb. 1st.
