Former Clark County Pastor Sentenced for Sexual Assault

-A former Clark County pastor has been sentenced to 1.5 years in prison for sexually assaulting a boy he met on the Internet.
Ervin Witmer, from Owen and a former pastor of the Church of Brethren in Stanley, resigned last year after he was accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy he met in a chat room.
Witmer had three charges of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child filed against him. Back in October, he entered a plea of guilty for one of them and the other two were dismissed but read into the record.
He was sentenced for his crimes in December.
