Downed Powerlines Detour Traffic North of Cadott on Monday

-Traffic was detoured north of Cadott on Highway 27 for a couple hours on Monday.
According to the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department, around 10:30 that morning, a boom truck knocked power lines onto the road.
Motorists were detoured onto 100th Avenue east, to 270th Street south, then to 80th Avenue west to get back onto 27.
Nobody was injured when the lines fell and the Department of Transportation had the issue resolved fairly quickly.
