Red Cross Blood Drive in Neillsville Today
Monday, January 7th, 2013 -- 8:32 am
Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

-January is National Blood Donor Month, and the American Red Cross encourages everyone to give the gift of life in celebration, whether as a longtime donor or for the first time.

Because the blood supply is particularly vulnerable this time of year due to inclement weather and seasonal illnesses, National Blood Donor Month comes at the perfect time to educate Americans about the importance of regular blood donation and the impact it can have on patients in need.

You can donate at the American Legion here in Neillsville today from 11am-6pm and you can donate at the Abbotsford High School on Wednesday, January 9th from 9am to 2pm.

Throughout the month, the Red Cross is honoring the contributions of those who roll up their sleeves to help save lives, one donation at a time.
