Posted by Riley Hebert-News Director

Next Monday night will be a busy night for area schools. As we’ve reported, the Neillsville and Greenwood school boards will be meeting at 7:30 in the Greenwood High School cafetorium to discuss “future relationships between the districts”. Now, the Loyal and Granton school boards have scheduled a meeting for the same night.

Those two boards will meet at 7:30 in the Loyal High School Library. Agenda items for that meeting include: sharing of staff and programs, and athletics coops. The agenda also lists a "possible consolidation study" under the heading of “Long Range Planning” for the two districts.

The Loyal and Greenwood school boards are scheduled to meet on February 7th with similar topics of discussion.
