Animal Neglect In Cadott

Late last week dozens of animals had to be removed from a Chippewa County farm north of Cadott.
A month long investigation was conducted and numerous animals had to be removed - at least 36 dogs, 17 horses, and four donkeys from the Betty Damerow farm north of Cadott.
A local owner of a dog grooming shop in Boyd was asked to investigate the location in question - after finding numerous malnourished animals, the dog grooming shop owner contacted the Chippewa County Sheriff's Office who asked Damerow to give the animals away.
