Women Arrested in Wisconsin Rapids for Prostitution

-Three women have been arrested in Wisconsin Rapids for engaging in prostitution.
According to the Wisconsin Rapids police, Jennifer Barger, age 47, Maria C. Smith, age 37, and Markesha Green, age 25, were arrested after officers conducted an undercover investigation.
The investigation took place between November 30 and December 1 and was launched due to "escort activity" being offered online.
The police said the women are not from the Wisconsin Rapids area.
A request for charges has been forwarded to the Wood County District Attorney's office and they have not released any other information about the case.
