Election Races in Our Area

-After months of political ads on the TV and radio, flyers’ filling your mailboxes, and debates from the various candidates, Election Day is here.
The entire United States of America will vote for the President today. They can choose between another four years with President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden or side with Governor Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. There are other candidates running for different parties other than Democrat and Republican.
Here in Wisconsin, people can choose Tommy Thompson, Tammy Baldwin, or other candidates from various parties to fill the US Senate seat.
Your choices for Congressional Representatives are Sean Duffy and Pat Kreitlow.
For those in the 87th District, your choices include Mary Williams and Elizabeth Riley for assembly representative, Kathy Bernier and Judy Smriga for those in the 68th District, and finally Scott Suder and Paul Knoff for those in the 69th District.
For some county races, you have a choice between Lyndsey Boon-Brunette and Shari Post for District Attorney and Peggy Walter and Marcia Ziegler for Register of Deeds.
To help make your voting a little simpler, Christina Jensen is running unopposed for County Clerk and Kathy Brugger is running unopposed for Treasurer.
