Competency Hearing for Stanley Prison Inmate

-A Stanley Prison inmate has had a competency hearing ordered.
Vern Stone assaulted a prison guard earlier this year. The guard suffered minor injuries.
Stone remains in prison and has a $1000 bond filed against him due to the attack. Also, he cannot abuse anyone verbally or physically.
The hearing was ordered by the court during a review hearing to see if Stone is competent to stand trial for the attack. Stone’s attorney also waived the time limits for a preliminary hearing.
The final results of the competency hearing will be given to the judge at a later date.
