Neillsville City Council Updated on Kwik Trip

-The Director of Public Works in Neillsville, Dave Flynn, gave an update to the city council members, at their recent meeting, on the new Kwik Trip coming in on the south end of town.

As of right now, Dave said he has recived plans for the Kwik Trip and they are doing some asbestos testing in the buildings they are going to move into.

Dave said there is a lot of work to be done, such as the moving of power lines. He said that Opelts won a bid to do some demolition work and cleaning of the area.

The demolition is expected to start in 3 weeks and looking long term, they hope to start construction by Spring.

They are looking at a grand opening by Summer or early Fall.
