-Building projects, enrollment numbers, and property values were discussed at the recent Owen-Withee School Board Meeting.

An associate from Somerville Architects spent the day in the district on October 16th. He gathered input and ideas on the potential for a building project in the future. His findings will be brought before the Owen-Withee board at the November meeting.

The enrollment numbers for the Third Friday in September were collected. The district has 539 students enrolled. That number is used when the Department of Education calculates the amount of state aid a school will receive.

Finally, the Department of Revenue notified the district that their property value is 194,386,242 dollars. That’s up one million dollars from last year. This is the first increase the school has seen in three years. This number also helps determine the local tax levy.
