Clark County Selected to Host 2014 Alice in Dairyland Finals

-A letter was received from Ben Brancel, Secretary State of Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection informing Clark County Economic Development Corporation and Tourism Bureau that Clark County will be the host of the 2014 Alice in Dairyland Finals.
The event was awarded based on the very strong application that was sent in from the CCEDC. Secretary Brancel “thanked Clark County for putting together a very strong application”. “Your county met and exceeded every expectation that we hold for our host counties”.
Secretary Brancel goes on to state “We recognize that Clark County has much to offer the Alice in Dairyland finals program. With a leading dairy industry at the state and national level, Clark County will have the opportunity to showcase dairy and other aspects of the diverse agriculture industry in our state.”
According to Secretary Brancel, “Clark County has much to offer from showcasing the diversity of the over 7,500 jobs that agriculture provides in the county to understanding the technology and innovation taking place in agriculture businesses. We look forward to partnering with you in hosting this unique event and holding your own page in the history of the Alice in Dairyland program.”
