La Crosse Man Going to Trial for Death of Loyal Woman

-A La Crosse man made an appearance in Marathon County Court on Tuesday.
In March, Paige Metz of Loyal was killed when Tyler Deal allegedly lost control of his vehicle which then spun into a utility pole on the passenger side.
Deal is being charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle, homicide by use of a vehicle, and homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle due to the death of Metz.
At first, only misdemeanor possession charges had been filed against him.
After Deal was identified by a witness to the events, the Judge found probable cause for the case to proceed to arraignment and a trial.
