Greenwood Man Makes Initial Appearance for Drug Charges

-A Greenwood man made an initial appearance in Clark County Court for drug charges.
In mid-August, the Clark County Sheriff’s department did a fly over of a suspected marijuana grow in Clark County.
A photo of the Steve and Beverly Kelly farm showed green plants growing between round bales. A trail camera was set-up and photos were taken of the couple caring for the plants.
Steve Kelley’s defense attorney, Leon Schmidt, waived the reading of the complaint and the time limits on a preliminary hearing.
Both Steve and his wife Beverly will appear in court again, later this month.
