Authorities Asking for Help in Locating Vehicle Involved in Car vs. Buggy Accident

-Local authorities are asking for help in locating a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit and run with an Amish Buggy.
This past Saturday, police responded to a car and buggy crash on Highway 10 by Miller.
One occupant of the buggy did receive head injuries and was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital.
The driver of the car did not stop and fled the scene. However, multiple pieces of the vehicle’s headlight assembly were located at the scene and one of the pieces assembled contained the Chrysler insignia. Authorities also discovered flakes of white paint.
A witness observed a small car with a loud exhaust stop at Highway 10 and Miller Ave. at about the time of the accident and then drive away at a high rate of speed.
