Shoppes at Wood Ridge Will Receive New Name

-The Shoppes at Wood Ridge will be getting a new name.
The Shoppes at Wood Ridges’ name will change to Marshfield Mall sometime in January of 2013.
The new name was selected from entries in a renaming contest.
The mall owners decided to change the name as many shoppers, store owners, and others thought Shoppes at Wood Ridge was too long and confusing.
Mall officials said that most people recognize the Marshfield Mall as Marshfield Mall anyway, so it will be much easier for people to understand then the old name.
Other names submitted, included Family Mall, Friendly Mall and Cozy Store Mall, which suggest that the community really cares about its shopping center.
Mall executives will work with a graphic designer to create a logo. The mall also will get a new sign in early 2013.
