Vice President Biden Visits Eau Claire

-There was a lot of excitement in the air when Vice President Joe Biden stepped onto the stage at the Zorn Arena at the UW-Eau Claire Campus on Thursday.
Vice President Biden started out on a somber tone, speaking about the death of the American Ambassador in Libya. Biden said, “so many times the work that our diplomats do goes unnoticed. Every single day I check the casualties. No life is unimportant.”
The Vice President then when on to discuss some of the policies he and President Obama are working on including education, medicare and healthcare, and jobs. “We’re creating jobs the old-fashioned way,” Biden said, “From the middle out, not from the top to bottom.”
He also talked about the quote “failed policies” that the republicans are trying to put in place. “This isn’t your father’s Republican party anymore,” Biden said.
Biden ended his speech by riling up the crowd saying, “You don’t bet against the American people to get the country back on its feet. America doesn’t quit.”
