Frac Sand Hauling Agreements Due Next Week

The hauling agreements between Wood County and three Marshfield frac sand companies for road use fees must be signed by Sept. 22.
Wood County board chairman Lance Pliml said that if a company doesn’t sign the road use agreement and uses Wood County roads, it will be fined.
The fees range from 13 cents to 40 cents per ton, per mile, depending on the amount of work the road needs to handle the increased loads hauling sand for processing.
