-The Clark County Board of Supervisors heard two very important presentations at their recent meeting at the Clark County Healthcare Center in Owen.

The IT Department told the board about what they do and the different projects they’ve been working on.

They also talked about their budget, 803,000 dollars, which includes enough money to replace a few PC’s throughout the year.

The department explained just how much information is being maintained at the courthouse, over 20 terabytes, and informed the board that many of the computers are going to need upgrades in their operating software.

Amy Jahnke, the Interm CNRED Agent in Clark County, also gave her report.

After holding two focus groups with city officials, two needs identified for Clark County were visioning and strategic planning guidance for community, natural resources and economic development, as well as facilitating collaboration and communication among organizations.

Amy did note that the board couldn’t make any concrete decisions off the report she gave, as she has many other projects she wants to finish, in the time she has left, before making a final report.
