Wood County Jail Administrator Suspended

-The Wood County jail administrator has been suspended due to an inmate’s escape.
The administrator, Andrew Netz, has been suspended for 30 days without pay.
Allan Koskela, 42, escaped from jail Friday afternoon.
Koskela was painting in a work-release section of the jail when he escaped through a door that was open for ventilation. Koskela then climbed a wall and got away.
Koskela was later found and arrested in Wisconsin Rapids Saturday afternoon.
The jail's policies are sound, but in this case, they weren't followed.
