Granton Community Library Open

-The Granton Community officially opened the Sampson Memorial Library on Tuesday.
Excitement was in the air as the many community members that attended the event listened to Charles Buckle, the District Administrator at Granton, and talked about the merger between the School District’s Library and the Community Library in Granton.
Charles said that, “This is a great way to show all the neighboring school district’s that the merger with community buildings can be done. It’s a great way for the districts to use their facilities to the fullest extent.”
The school and the community library will still have their own funding, services, and staff, but they are sharing the same building.
Charles said, “I believe this library can offer the school district and community something tremendous.”
The library is open from 7:30am to 8:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am to Noon on Saturday.
