Small Fire in Neillsville

-There was a small fire in the City of Neillsville.
The Neillsville fire department was called to a fire on East Division Street in the city.
The department checked the structure of the building and found the problem in the bedroom of the home.
There appeared to be an electrical short in the wires found in the bedroom. There were scorch marks above a wall outlet and the room was filled with smoke.
Everyone had evacuated the residence so no one was hurt. The fire department took care of the problem and no further action was taken.
