Greenwood City Council Approves Signs for ATVs

-The Greenwood City Council has partnered with the Snowmobile Club to make it legal for ATV’s to ride on their streets.
Right now, in the City of Greenwood, ATV’s are allowed to ride on their streets, but there are no signs posted saying it’s okay for them to do so. If the DNR were to see the ATV’s on the streets, they could ticket the riders.
The Greenwood City Council decided to have the Snowmobile Club post the signs in the city. The city’s attorney will draft the ordinance and will be officially approved by the council at their next meeting in September.
The project will be completed by the end of September.
