-A horse in Clark County has been infected with a virus transmitted by mosquitos.

It was discovered that a Clark County horse has Eastern Equine Encephalitis, a disease that attacks the Nervous System.

Veterinarian’s say that horse owners must get their horses vaccinated and continued saying that there could be even more cases this fall.

This virus can cause paralysis and there is no cure. Other symptoms include depression, loss of appetite, drooping eyelids and lower lip, aimless wandering and circling, and blindness.
