New U.S. Highway 10 Complete

-The new U.S. Highway 10 stretch is complete.
It's 31 miles long and connects Stevens Point to Marshfield and the project has been years in the making.
The project took an existing two lane highway and replaced it with a four lane freeway.
Dozens gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday to mark the completion of the newly expanded U.S. Highway 10. The ceremony was attended by several political officials including Secretary of Transportation Mark Gotleib, Representative Scott Suder, and Senator Terry Moulton.
The old Highway 10 will remain open to serve residents and the communities that sit along it.
