Marshfield Police Investigate Death of Woman

-A 20-year-old Marshfield woman was found dead on Monday.
According to a press release, police responded to the 800 block of E. 4th street and found Kayla Vanderwyst dead on their arrival.
Officers investigated Vanderwyst's death throughout Monday afternoon and into Tuesday morning.
Police Chief Gary Jepsen gave few other details, "Due to the sensitive nature of this matter and the impact that it may have upon this investigation, there will be no additional information released at this time. Updates will be made available when appropriate."
Officers say there is no immediate threat to the public and the investigation continues.
An autopsy will be performed today.
