Suder Selected As Legislator Of The Year

The Wisconsin American Legion has selected State Representative Scott Suder as the organization's Legislator of the Year for 2012.
The 92 year old organization presented the award at their annual statewide convention July 21st.
Suder is an American Legion member and Veteran who joined the Air National Guard in the wake of the September 11th attacks on our nation.
Suder served three tours overseas in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a member of the Wisconsin Air National Guard's 155th Fighter Wing.
As Assemble Majority Leader, he was instrumental in ensuring the solvency of the Veterans Trust Fund and spearheaded the passage of the Disabled Veterans Tax Credit Act this legislative session.
