Thorp Man Pleads Not Guilty to Strangulation

-A Thorp man made an appearance in Clark County Court on Monday.
Scott Gurklis has charges of strangulation and battery filed against him when he allegedly tried to strangle his boss after a heated argument.
Darwin Zwieg appeared on behalf of the state and took testimony to determine there was probable cause behind the charges after the witness described, in great detail, what happened that day.
Gurklis’ attorney, Leon Schmidtt, waived the reading of the complaint and a not guilty plea was entered into the court.
Gurklis has a future court date at the end of this month.
