High School Football Practice Starts Today

High School football teams will be getting ready for another season today as practice begins around the state.
A couple of area teams will have new coaches this season including Neillsville where John O’Leary takes over for Scott Bryant and Jeff Trunkel takes over for the defending Division 7 champions, Greenwood/Granton. Trunkel takes over for departed coach Chad Hanson.
Neillsville's first game will be on Friday, August 24th vs. Spencer/Columbus while Greenwood/Granton will open at Wisconsin Rapids Assumption
