Clark County FSA Reminds Farmers of Nomination Deadline

-The Clark County Farm Service Agency wants to remind farmers that the deadline for submitting County Committee nominations is drawing near.
The deadline is August 1st.
County Committee members are important as they learn about the FSA, witness FSA’s commitment to farmers, and voice their farming experience opinion to make a difference and impact to all county farmers.
The nominees must reside in the area up for elections.
For 2012, residents in townships located south of County Highway 98 are eligible to be nominated.
And farmers can nominate themselves.
Eligible individuals must participate or cooperate in a program administered by FSA, be eligible to vote in County Committee elections, and reside in the local area in which the person is a candidate.
