Rapids Man Hits Deer With Moped

-A Wisconsin Rapids man was flown to the hospital after hitting a deer with his moped.
Patrick Spang, age 53, was traveling southbound on 64th street when he collided with a deer.
Police believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash however, it is still under investigation.
The man was airlifted by Spirit to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. Wood County Sheriffs Deputies were on scene along with United Ambulance Service, Grand Rapids first responders, and Wood County Sheriff’s Rescue.
