Wisconsin Jr. National Team Finishes 4th

The Wisconsin Junior National Dual Meet Team finished 4th in the Greco Roman Division at the Junior National Duals in Oklahoma City.
Wisconsin was beaten by Minnesota in the 3th/4th place match on Thursday, 29-24. Phillip Opelt of Neillsville suffered a black eye in his match vs. Oklahoma State on Thursday and today his eye is swollen shut so he will only wrestle if the team needs him to.
Illinois took first in Greco as they beat Michigan in the final.
The Freestyle competition got underway today and Wisconsin beat Georgia 59-9 in their first match and are now wrestling New York.
