Eric Koula Takes the Stand

-Eric Koula testified today that he signed his father’s name on a blank check the day both his parents were killed in their town of Barre house.

He filled out the check for $50,000 to pay bills and float his struggling day trading career.

Koula said the money was a chunk of money that was his from business dealings with his father.

“I had signed checks for dad many times before,” Koula testified.

According to Koula he and his father talked about the upcoming weekend. He then said “I love you” and goodbye. It was the last time Eric Koula saw his father alive.

Koula took the stand about 9:45 a.m. yesterday. He’s detailed his close relationships with his parents, business partnerships with his father and day trading.
