Marshfield Man Sentenced for Sexual Assault

-A 52-year-old Marshfield man authorities say sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl he was baby-sitting for was sentenced in Wood County Circuit Court to six months in jail.
Charles E. Bennett also was placed on probation for four years and ordered to undergo any counseling deemed necessary, pay $654, register as a sex offender and submit a DNA sample.
According to the criminal complaint, Bennett was watching a 14-year-old girl and her younger siblings in August when he inappropriately touched the girl.
