Defense Attorney Says there is No Evidence Against Koula

-Defense Attorney Jim Koby says there is no physical evidence against Eric Koula.
Koby told this to the panel of jurors during the opening statements of the trial this morning. Koby said there is no physical or forensic evidence linking Koula to the deaths of his parents.
Koby also said that Koula would admit to sending a letter to himself that said, “fixed you” because he was upset after investigators questioned him about the homicides.
The letter his attorney is referring to is one that Koula said he received anonymously after his parents death.
Koby also said Koula could not have committed the murders because he had a strong relationship with his parents
Koula’s attorney also said that he has a solid alibi for the afternoon of May 21.
Koby said that Dennis and Merna Koula were killed by at least one “professional” shooter after their neighbor received several threats.
