Boys and Girls Track & Field Sectionals On Thursday

Area athletes who qualified for track and field Sectionals will be competing on Thursday.
Neillsville qualifiers will be at the Division 2, Medford Sectional on Thursday. They include:
Katrina Peterson - 100M Dash
Brooke Brekke - 400M and 200M Dash
Wendy Barth - Discus and Shot Put
Girls 4 x 200M Relay Team
Dessa Reil - Shot Put
Caitlynne Naughton - Pole Vault
Sandy Bautch - Long Jump and Pole Vault
Matt Grottke and Erik Pekol - Shot Put
Dan Schoen - Discus
Some area athletes in Division 2 will also be competing at the Boscobel Sectional.
In Division 3, Sectionals involving area athletes include Colfax and Rosholt and in Division 1 Rice Lake, Ashwaubenon and Oshkosh West will host Sectionals with area athletes participating.
The top 3 finishers in each event in Division 1 and the top 4 in each event in Divisions 2 and 3 will qualify for the State Track and Field Meet in LaCrosse June 1st and 2nd.
