Poeschel No Hits Greyhounds

Courtney Poeschel threw a no-hitter on Thursday as the Neillsville Warriors downed Loyal-Granton 16-0.
Poeschel was close to a perfect game as only one Loyal-Granton runner reached first base in the game and that was on an error. The Warriors scored 5 times in the first, third and fifth innings enroute to the win. Katelyn Crothers had three hits and two RBIs, and Catarina Nemitz had two hits, including a triple, and two RBIs.
Neillsville improves to 19-1 on the season and 14-0 in the conference. Loyal-Granton fell to 7-7 overall and 7-6 in conference play.
